I have a little secret of late, that I’ve been wanting to share with you, witchy ones. That little something behind the spring in my step & my cheery disposition in recent times. Other positive side effects of my little secret: sparkly eyes, clear complexion & an energy boost that lasts all day.

So what is my little secret? A super easy to make Beauty Potion spirit whispered to me, not long ago. It will benefit any age group and in the more mature ladies it also has a rejuvenating effect! I’ve been drinking it consistently for a while now and I gotta say, not only do I feel great and I’m looking my best but my immune system also seems to be stronger than ever. My husband was painfully ill with the flue for a week and I cared for him, took care of the house & my work, exercised daily and didn’t even get particularly drained, let alone sick! I blame it all on this amazing new addition to my life, this magical Beauty Potion.

GREEN JUICE BASE : 2/3 of a Glass

It’s no secret that Green Veggie Juice is one of the healthiest things you can drink. The average person doesn’t eat nearly as many of the vitamin & antioxidant packed green veggies in Green Juice as one’s needs to have a healthy immune system.

I personally get mine from one of my local grocery stores where they sell all sorts of fresh juices. I usually get a Cucumber, Celery, Spinach, Apple & Mint mix. You can try your own combinations if you have your own juicer at home or just hit up your local healthy grocery store and get yourself a Green Juice Base that you like. There’s a secret to making the perfect Green Juice Base for your Beauty Potion.

  1. Pick one or two veggies as a base: cucumber, celery, carrots & even watermelon make excellent bases. It needs to be something very juicy, kinda watery.
  2. Add a handful of a leafy green like: spinach, kale or watercress.
  3. Pick a fruit to sweeten + yummify, like: apple, peach, banana or pear.
  4. Add a flavor twist with detox benefits, like: mint, lemon, parsley or ginger.

If you don’t have a Health Food Store or Juice Bar that offers these fresh juice options for you to buy and you aren’t feeling buying a juicer right now, another good option is to order Fresh Green Juice online and have it delivered right to your door. When I lived in the U.S. this was one of my favorite brands of Organic Fresh Juices and I highly recommend them >>> BluePrint Organic Kale Apple Ginger Green Juice, 16 Ounce — 6 per case.

I love Roses, not just because they are beautiful, smell divine & have a delicate yet powerful energy but also because there’s so much you can do with them and they’re full of unexpected health & beauty benefits. For this reason and also because of their luxurious fragrance Rose Water is a very popular ingredient in cosmetic products.

Rose water has a very distinctive flavor and is used heavily in Persian and Middle Eastern cuisine. One of my favorite dishes that I make quite often is Mast-o-Khiar and rose petals are part of my favorite recipe for it.

There are many ways of making Rose Water. You can make it with fresh petals, with dried flowers or even with pure essential oil, if that’s all you have. Popular ways of making Rose Water are all about boiling the petals in water, mixing crushed petals with hot water in a bottle or even creating a thick paste with crushed petals and essential oil that you later strain your water through.

My personal favorite way of making Rose Water is with freshly cut roses and infusing the water in the natural sunlight. I am blessed enough to have a huge pink rose bush in my garden so for me it’s quite an easy process. But it’s almost just as easy and pretty cheap to get a freshly cute rose from your local flower shop and it’ll work just the same.

Here’s the process I follow:

Pick a fresh rose and pull the petals carefully & softly onto a plate.
Wash the petals thoroughly but very carefully with clean water.
Place the petals in a large glass jar with a good seal/cover.
Pour in distilled water until it’s full & the petals submerged.
Close the jar well and let it sit in a sunny spot like a window or better yet outside.
Place a charged amethyst crystal on top of the jar, to charge the Rose Water as it’s infusing.
You’ll need to let the jar sit on the sun for a while. You will know your water is ready once it’s a pale pink color. Depending on how hot & sunny it is outside this might take up to a few days of sitting outside all day. But if it’s the middle of summer it could take as little as a few hours.
Once it’s the right color, strain the water, and let the petals to dry (you can reuse them for other spells & magical concoctions). Pour your rose water in a glass bottle and store in the fridge. Will last for aprox. 10-12 days refrigerated.

You can charge your Rose Water with whichever crystal you feel pulled to, o r better yet deliberately pick one that brings the benefits you most need at the moment. I personally love to use Amethyst to charge my Rose Water for my Beauty Potion because it promotes inner peace, emotional balance & happiness, which I think are the true secrets to beauty anyway.

If you just don’t have the time to make your own Rose Water or just can’t be bothered, you can also of course buy it but in all honesty it can be a bit difficult to find, depending on where you live. Check out your local Health Food Store or just order online for super convenience. This is a great brand and the one I’d recommend if you’re going to use already-made Rose Water >>>

ROYAL JELLY : 1 serving

Royal Jelly is quite a magical, amazing ingredient. While most people know that honey comes from bees, most don’t realize that there is another type of super nutritious food that comes from them: Royal Jelly; which is actually excreted from the top of a bee’s head and is collected in what’s called a queen cell (a special honeycomb).

Royal Jelly contains an incredible variety of nutrients, including minerals like calcium, copper, iron, phosphorous, silicon, sulfur, and potassium, as well as a wealth of B-family vitamins, biotin, inositol, folate, nucleic acids, gamma globulin, and 17 different amino acids, including the 8 essential amino acids that the human body cannot produce, and must therefore get from their diet.

Until recently, it was used mainly in traditional Chinese medicine.

What’s interesting about Royal Jelly is that when bee larvae are first born, they are all fed exclusively Royal Jelly. However, after 3-4 days, larvae that are to become worker bees stop being fed this superfood and start being fed . However, Queen Bees eat only Royal Jelly for the remainder of their lives.  In fact, queen larvae are put into these special queen cells and are completely surrounded by Royal Jelly until they are full grown. This is what helps them to develop their “queen morphology” and also allows them to live  20 times longer than a normal bee.

Just as royal jelly helps to extend the queen’s life span significantly, the antioxidant compounds found in royal jelly can also work to eliminate the free radicals that normally cause premature aging of our cells. Antioxidants can eliminate wrinkles, maintain a healthy shine to your skin, prevent hair loss, and avoid macular degeneration, while also extending your life by preventing certain chronic diseases.

Royal jelly is commonly found in diet or organic food stores. You can often find royal jelly at farmers’ markets as well. In terms of use, royal jelly usually comes in granules or powder form and you can add it to all kinds of foods from salads to smoothies or yogurt, my favorite way is to add it to my Beauty Potion.

Whichever way you choose to use Royal Jelly, just remember that it is important to never heat it up, because it will lose all of the enzymatic properties and some of the proteins that make it so beneficial for human consumption.

So there you have it witchy ones, my easy ageless green Beauty Potion. Give a try & lemme know how you like it 😘👌🍹💞✨🌙🌟
